Westchester Community College is presenting a magical night with Fantasmagique on Saturday, July 17 at 8pm. The performance will be held in the Academic Arts Theatre and feature a Houdini-style magician /illusionist and a comdic ventriloquist. For tickets call 606-6262.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Mamaroneck Artists’ Guild, 126 Larchmont Avenue, Larchmont announces “Thinking Big” a special group show featuring work by artists who work Large will run through July 10. “Quartet,” a four Member show will run from Sept. 1 through the 18th. There will be an opening reception on July 15 from 5 to 7pm. “Summer in Westchester II” an exhibition featuring the work of all MAG members will be on display from Aug. 4 through 21st with an opening reception on August 7 from 3 to 5pm. Westchester County Parks presents Screenings Under the Stars 2010 on the following dates: July 8 – Sherlock Holmes and August 19 – Avatar at Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla. The park opens for picnicking at 5pm, entertainment at 6pm, and movies begin at sundown. Admission is free. For additional information call 864-PARK.

In Rye, Playland Fireworks will be presented July 2, 4 and 5th starting at 9:15pm. Also, fireworks will be displayed every Wednesday and Friday nights July through September 3 at 9:15pm. The Eugene J. Feeley Harrison High School Aid Fund, the Feeley Fund, has mailed its annual appeal to the Harrison Community and enables eligible Harrison High School graduates to further their education and training in accredited colleges and schools. The Village of Larchmont Recreation Department will hold the following events: July 4 at 10am -- Fourth of July Races: Races for all ages at Flint Park followed by free hot dogs and drinks; Thursday evenings in July at 7:15pm – Flint Park Summer Concert Series.
