On March 6 from 1 to 3pm, the Mamaroneck Artists’ Guild, 126 Larchmont Avenue, Larchmont will celebrate Women’s History Month with a tribute to a woman artist that they admire or a woman artist who has been a mentor to them. The Clay Art Center presents, “Rising Stars: A Student Show,” an annual exhibition featuring the talents of their students from March 12 through April 2 with an opening reception on March 13 from 3 to 5pm. The Greater Westchester Orchid Society will now meet at the Harrison Community Center, 216 Halstead Avenue, Harrison. The Society meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm. Anyone interested in learning about orchids is welcome to experience the society’s passion for orchid culture. Guest speakers discuss travels to exotic locales and share their expertise.
